Terry’s professional memberships include the American Society of Media Photography (ASMP), Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Associated Professional Photographers of Illinois (APPI), National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP).

Terry and Sandy Farmer of Terry Farmer Photography were awarded the 2015 Diamond Lifetime Award presented by The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Awards event on June 30, 2015. This award recognizes a company that has been in business for a minimum of 25 years and who has made significant contributions to commerce and the community.

Terry Farmer Photography was voted “ Best Photographer” by the Illinois State Journal Register and Illinois Times publication readers.

Terry Farmer is also committed to giving back to the local community that he's been a part of his whole life.
